  2. Hi, If you have a great server, then it's easy to get players to stay. The hard part about running a great server is finding people to play on it. Without communities, Aion servers wouldn't be as much fun! Before promoting your server, remember to make sure it's ready for the public. If you just started your server and are still in the process of setting things up, your players might not be happy about a Offline website or any delays from playing their game and move on to a different server. 3. I have checked all connections and have booted both in Win7 and In LL but the problem remains. The laptop does not see the power connection and thinks it's not connected. I have switched power cords but no use. I went online and in trying the many suggestions ( none worked) the battery went flat and now the laptop does not switch on at all. I plugged the power cord in and the orange light flashe a couple of times but does not stay on. I left it overnight but it did not charge ( it was a desperate hope ) Any ideas? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References Corporate Advertising Video
  4. Pattern Options Built-in pattern matching provides a versatile tool for string comparisons. The pattern-matching features allow you to match each character in string against a specific character, a wildcard character, a character list, or a character range. The following table shows the characters allowed in pattern and what they match. Characters in pattern Matches in string ? Any single character * Zero or more characters # Any single digit (0–9) [ charlist ] Any single character in charlist [! charlist ] Any single character not in charlist Character Lists A group of one or more characters (charlist) enclosed in brackets ([ ]) can be used to match any single character in string and can include almost any character code, including digits. An exclamation point (!) at the beginning of charlist means that a match is made if any character except the characters in charlist is found in string. When used outside brackets, the exclamation point matches itself. Special Characters To match the special characters left bracket ([), question mark (?), number sign (#), and asterisk (*), enclose them in brackets. The right bracket (]) cannot be used within a group to match itself, but it can be used outside a group as an individual character. The character sequence [] is considered a zero-length string (""). However, it cannot be part of a character list enclosed in brackets. Character Ranges By using a hyphen (–) to separate the lower and upper bounds of the range, charlist can specify a range of characters. For example, [A–Z] results in a match if the corresponding character position in string contains any character within the range A–Z, and [!H–L] results in a match if the corresponding character position contains any character outside the range H–L. When you specify a range of characters, they must appear in ascending sort order, that is, from lowest to highest. Thus, [A–Z] is a valid pattern, but [Z–A] is not. Multiple Character Ranges To specify multiple ranges for the same character position, put them within the same brackets without delimiters. For example, [A–CX–Z] results in a match if the corresponding character position in string contains any character within either the range A–C or the range X–Z. Usage of the Hyphen A hyphen (–) can appear either at the beginning (after an exclamation point, if any) or at the end of charlist to match itself. In any other location, the hyphen identifies a range of characters delimited by the characters on either side of the hyphen. NOTE: Quick Find in PassNGuard v1.0.0.0 is NOT case-sensitive.
  5. What is a URL? URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator and is used to specify addresses on the World Wide Web. A URL is the fundamental network identification for any resource connected to the web (e.g., hypertext pages, images, and sound files). URLs have the following format: protocol://hostname/other_information For example, the URL for GiGatR00n's home page is: The protocol specifies how information from the link is transferred. The protocol used for web resources is HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP). Other protocols compatible with most web browsers include HTTPS, FTP, Telnet, NewsGroups, and Gopher. The protocol is followed by a colon, two slashes, and then the domain name. The domain name is the computer on which the resource is located. Links to particular files or subdirectories may be further specified after the domain name. Directory names are separated by single forward slashes. PassNGuard uses the above rules. 7. Here at GiGatR00n Developing Community, your security is always our top priority. So that we will be implementing an Enhanced Password Requirement for the GiGatR00n Forums. This change will affect both new users signing up to our forums and any users who update their password after today. We encourage all to adhere to this new security policy. Passwords will be required to be “Strong” enough and there will be a Password Quality Meter to guide you to this strength level. The strength of a password is calculated using an algorithm which rewards longer passwords with a mix of letters, numbers and symbols, and subtracts points for using consecutive or sequential characters. Note: A “Strong” enough password is “a mixture of upper and lowercase characters, numbers and special symbols.” Characteristics of Strong Passwords: At least 9 characters long (Some security experts declared 6 chars long! but It's wrong. Nowadays the software programmers can make software based on GPU Processors which are hundreds of times faster than CPUs, so that breaking passwords by Brute Force method are quite simple) The use of both lower case and upper case letters, a digit and a special symbol such as #/[email protected]~$%^<>_,&*.=()+? Never use names, words, phone numbers or addresses (Important) Misspelled words are highly recommended because they are not inside attacker's dictionary. Any combination of words/letters with unusual capitalization, digits, and special symbols such as GiGatR00n, W0rLd0fYeARe2017, LASeR_t9 and so on. Prohibition of use of Company Name or an Abbreviation such as Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Laser and etc. Prohibition of words found in a Password Blacklist such as qwer1234, wasd, abc123ABC, 123qweasd and so on.
